Logan
Circle is renowned for its magnificent Victorian architecture. Now a
landmark, contemporary residence has come to the neighborhood. The
historic architecture was reinterpreted into a modern vocabulary for
SoLo Piazza, with the Victorian themes of elaborate detailing and
complex masonry serving as a starting point. Dynamic
floor-to-ceiling fenestration and the array of over two dozen colors and
styles that comprise the masonry and other materials make up the skin of
SoLo Piazza. Complementing the skin of the building, is the balcony
grid-work and the towering crown of wood and steel, draped in greenery. It
all serves to usher in a new era for Logan Circle architecture. The best
of what downtown Washington has to offer is within walking distance.
SoLo Piazza is a short walk from Fresh Fields, the theater district of
14th Street, the coffee houses and cafes of 17th Street, and the K
